1. Cutting material. Generally, the tools used to make D&Z stainless steel sculptures are electric scissors, which can cut thin plates below 2mm, but the flatness after cutting is not good. There is also a cutting machine, which can cut thick and thin plates, but can only cut straight lines, and can do nothing when encountering arcs. Plasma cutters are required to cut flat stainless steel sheets into various shapes. Plasma cutting machines can use high plasma to cut metals that are difficult to cut with ordinary oxygen cutting methods. Since the electric current and gas are passed into the special nozzle cooled by water, a strong compressed arc is formed and a plasma flow with extremely high temperature (above 10,000 degrees) is formed, so the cut stainless steel sheet is neat and not deformed. Note that the hand must be steady when cutting, otherwise the material will be cut. After the material is cut, it must be planed according to the shape required by the work. Don’t leave hard scratches on the board surface, so as not to leave defects after the work is polished.
2. A method of making carbon steel plate sculpture and stainless steel plate sculpture. The carbon steel plate and stainless steel plate are not knocked on the mold, but the material is unloaded according to the different shapes of each part of the plaster model, and consciously knocked according to its fluctuations. You can knock on any tangible and solid object, and then take the knocked stainless steel plate to the mold for comparison, think that the shape is correct and can be completely closed with the model, and then put these scattered carbon steel plates, stainless steel plates The plates are welded from top to bottom, and each piece must be adjusted against the mold. The surface texture effect of each stainless steel plate must remain the same, which must be forged while shaping. You can also forge the point first and then unload. When forging points, use the round head of the hammer to forge evenly and regularly in rows and rows. The width and distance and the amount of force should be the same.

3. After the basic shape of the D&Z stainless steel sculpture is forged correctly, it is necessary to weld them together according to the requirements of the work (electric welding and argon arc welding can be used). When using electric welding, prepare electric welding machine, welding handle, welding rod and other tools. Due to the high level of light and electric sparks generated during welding, it is strongly irritating to the eyes, so wear a protective cover to avoid being hurt by the strong light and the face by the electric sparks. Due to the large degree of thermal deformation of stainless steel plates welded by electric welding, some measures should be taken, such as spot welding or cooling while welding. Argon arc welding is superior to electric welding. It is a gas shielded arc welding method. Argon gas is used to protect the metal melted by the arc at the connection to avoid the harmful effects of oxygen and nitrogen in the air. According to different electrode materials, argon arc welding can be divided into melting electrode argon arc welding and non-melting electrode argon arc welding or tungsten electrode argon arc welding. In stainless steel sculpture welding, tungsten electrode argon arc welding is commonly used to obtain excellent welding quality. . And the biggest advantage of this method is that it is not easy to conduct heat, and the deformation of the stainless steel plate is smaller.
4. For carbon steel plate and stainless steel polishing, first use a grinding wheel to smooth the welding seam and excess parts of the work, and then use a soft wheel (cloth wheel) for polishing. When polishing, the work should be coated with polishing paste to increase lubrication, so that the work can be polished. Throws out brighter, thus giving a good visual aesthetic. 5. Larger stainless steel sculptures with simple shapes do not need to be welded. According to the shape and proportion of the work, the steel skeleton can be made directly, punch holes in the designed position with an electric drill, and fix the stainless steel plate on the skeleton with rivets. This method requires that the proportion and size of the skeleton be calculated very accurately, and the seams must be accurate, otherwise there will be differences, the expected effect will not be achieved, and the aesthetics will be affected.
